Why is physical fitness a personal matter?

Physical fitness is different for each individual.  Everyone has a different definition of physical fitness; it depends on the individual person.  There is no definte defintion for physical fitness, so there is no standard perfect amount of physical fitness.

How do some people neglect their health by choosing not to partcipate in physical activity?

They believe they do not have adequate athletic ability, scores on physical tests, and youth sports.  Youth start off being active iin community sports, but eventually leave, due to pressure of winning or competition.  Other people believe if they have fast metabolism, they do not have the need to exercise.  Some also think they do not have to exercise because they are skinny; however, they fail to realize some thin people are as unhealthy as some heavy-set people.

What are primary health risk factors, and which ones may be controlled?

Primary risk factors are associated with early death, disability,and diesease. Controllable risk factors are physical inactivity, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stress and tension, and smoking.  

What benefits are gained by exercising?

Some benefits gained by exercising are looking good, feeling good, desire to improve yourself in other areas, having control of yourself increases, gain confidence, increased muscular strength and muscular endurance, more energy, better sleep, and better health overall.

What is the relationship between wellness and personal fitness?

The more physically fit you are, your body will be more likely to fit off infectious  dieseases.

What is a personal fitness program (PFP)?

It is a plan including physical activities,designed to help you live longer, burn calories, and reduce stress.
